Jieyang West Lake
A spread of ponds on the west side of Rongcheng, more than twenty of them joined together. The zigzag bridge and the pavilion in the water are where local people go at dusk.
In one line An evening place for people who live here: the water is in pieces, and the bridge and the pavilion are each somewhere else.

What to see文化看點
Ponds on the west side of Rongcheng, more than twenty of them, joined but not one sheet of water. The zigzag bridge and the pavilion are in different places, and the bridge is what ties the water together. This is where local people go at dusk. What you look at is an ordinary evening, not monuments.
What it is是什麼
Jieyang West Lake — Rongjiang West Lake Park — is on Wangjiang North Road in Rongcheng. Inside are more than twenty ponds, taking up most of the ground. The zigzag bridge turns in nine spans and joins the two banks; the pavilion sits in the middle of the water.
It is not a monument but a city park, where people walk, play chess and talk at the end of the day. There is a small funfair and there are boats as well.
What to look at看什麼
- The zigzag bridge: nine spans and turns; better to walk than a straight bridge.
- The pavilion: in the middle of the water, open on four sides, the coolest place in the park.
- The afterglow: nothing tall to the west, and at sunset the water throws it back best.
