In Jieyang it is one village to a day, and the fifth to the tenth of the first month is the thickest stretch of the whole year — several dozen villages on a single day. 157 places are collected here, Rongcheng, Jiedong, Jiexi and Huilai listed town by town down to the village, the lunar days copied from the sources and the Gregorian converted for 2026 only.
The Jieyang City God temple fair: the banner reads “Jieyang City God temple”, with “the country is at peace, the people are safe” and “good weather for the crops” on either side. How to read this table
Jieyang arranges it one village to a day, like the xieshen table: read by town, look up by village. The difference is density. Over the six days from the fifth to the tenth of the first month, Rongcheng and Jiedong have several dozen villages going at once almost every day, and a single town can put eight or nine villages on the same date.
One thing needs saying about Rongcheng. Many entries in the source give the village and not the subdistrict — “Fenggang keeps it”, “Xinlin keeps it”. The table does not fill the gap. The same village name can fall in two or three towns in Jieyang, and a wrong guess is worse than a blank, so one group in Rongcheng is marked “subdistrict not given”, laid out exactly as the source has it.
Some places in Jieyang do not finish in a day. Qining sets out on the eleventh and goes on to the twentieth, with the lantern procession and the fire-pile jumping on the night of the twentieth. Shuolian in Xinheng has ten she taking turns, the god and the lanterns from the sixth, the pigs and sheep set out on the sixteenth and seventeenth, and 2026 is Nanshe’s turn to host. The Hong villages of Baita run from the fourth to the seventeenth, one village a day in turn. Tatou Wu in Jiexi runs eight days from the ninth, Hanshuikui in Jingxiyuan three from the sixth.
Where the date says “not set”, the source itself says the date is to be filled in, or, as with the fire offering at Huicheng, it comes once in ten years and the year is decided in the town. Those cannot be worked out from a table.
The table answers “which day for which village”. For the other question — where is it on these days, how many places can I reach in one day — see the procession calendar, where the four village tables are laid flat by lunar day.

Jiedong holds the densest stretch of the district: on the fifth to the tenth of the first month, Yunlu, Linpan, Yuecheng and Baita each put several villages on the same day, and the nights carry as much as the days — torch processions, fire-pile jumping, mediums on chairs of nails.

Sources and notes
The body of the table comes from “Jieyang 2026, the laoze timetable of every village”, compiled by Jieyang Xingkong and reposted in February 2026 by the WeChat account Dajieyang Travel. That table covers Rongcheng, Jiedong, Puning, Huilai and Jiexi from the first of the first month to the twenty-third of the third, with the district marked on each line. Town attributions, and a batch of entries that go back to 2014 — Chidu, Xiaopan, Guixi Houwei, Kunshan, Rengang, Shitou, Daqingxi, Beiyang, Puxia, Chizhai, Chunxing old she, Chenlong, Mashuo, Tancai, Meidou, Lanhe, Nancuo, Xinhe, Fouzao, Baigong — come from the 2014 “list of the renao days of various places in Chaoshan” published by Chaozhou Ancient City, which traces each village to its town.
Huilai’s sessions have a source of their own: a 2026 “Huilai folk-custom guide”, which gives the temple-fair days of Huicheng, Donglong, Jinghai, Shenquan, Longjiang, Xixi, Qianqiao and Kuitan one by one. The four days of the twelve she at Longjiang — the Dark Heaven Emperor and the Three Mountain Kings on the sixteenth, Lord Guan on the seventeenth, the three kings and their consorts on the eighteenth, Mazu on the nineteenth — are from it.
The Gregorian column is 2026 (bingwu) alone, converted by the Hong Kong Observatory’s table of correspondences. 2026 has no leap month.
Jieyang’s dates float a good deal. For Shuolian in Xinheng one source says the sixteenth and seventeenth and another says “during the first month”; for Qining, the fire-pile jumping on the night of the twentieth or the twenty-first — two posts, a day apart. Where they differ the table takes the most specific version.
